A headcount zero company keeps its knowledge in repositories instead. Every role is a brain, every procedure is a playbook, and the reason behind every decision is written down. AI agents operate those repositories around the clock. The human reads their work, corrects it, and decides what ships.

Nobody gets replaced. Nobody was hired. This is not a story about layoffs. It is a design constraint chosen on day one, by builders who never scale payroll in the first place.

02The removal test
